Terms of service
Last updated 9 June 2026
These terms set out the basis on which we welcome you to our website and atelier. They are written plainly, on purpose.
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the JMJ Experiences website and the services we provide through it. By using our site, creating an account, or sending an enquiry, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Who we are
JMJ Experiences LLC (“JMJ”, “we”, “us”) is a private travel atelier that designs and arranges bespoke trips for couples and families. You can reach us at care@jmjexperiences.com or on +971 50 342 4565.
3. Your account
To use the client portal you must be at least eighteen and able to enter into a contract. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for the activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
4. Enquiries and proposals
When you send an enquiry, we reply with first thoughts and, in time, a proposal. A proposal is an invitation to proceed — it is not a booking, and no contract for travel exists until a booking is confirmed and the relevant booking agreement is signed.
5. Bookings, agreements, and payments
Your trip is governed by a separate booking agreement, presented and signed in your portal, together with any pre-trip information we ask you to provide. That agreement — not this page — sets the specific terms of your journey, including the price, what is included, the payment schedule (typically a deposit followed by instalments and a balance), and the cancellation and change terms.
Payments are taken securely through our payment provider. Amounts are quoted in US dollars or UAE dirhams, as shown at the time. Where a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend arrangements until it is resolved.
6. Cancellations and changes
Changes and cancellations are handled under your booking agreement. Because we commit to suppliers on your behalf — hotels, guides, private transport — cancellation charges may apply, and we will always be clear about these before you commit.
7. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate, complete information, and keep it up to date.
- Hold valid passports, visas, and travel documents, and meet the entry and health requirements of the places you visit.
- Arrange and maintain adequate travel insurance for everyone in your party.
- Behave lawfully and considerately toward our team, our partners, and the communities that host you.
8. Suppliers and third parties
We carefully select the independent suppliers who deliver elements of your trip. They provide their services under their own terms, and we act as your agent in arranging them. Our site may also rely on third-party services — for payments, email, messaging, and authentication — whose own terms apply to those features.
9. Content and intellectual property
The site, our trip dossiers, itineraries, photography, and brand are owned by us or our licensors and are provided for your personal use in connection with your travel. Please do not copy, resell, or redistribute them without our permission.
10. Acceptable use
Please use the site and portal only for their intended purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access areas you are not authorised to, upload anything unlawful or harmful, or use the service to infringe anyone’s rights.
11. Disclaimers
We take great care, but the site is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and content such as sample itineraries and imagery is illustrative. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under mandatory law.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability arising from your use of the site is limited accordingly. Liability relating to a specific trip is governed by your booking agreement. We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
13. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle your personal information and forms part of these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will revise the date above, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai will have jurisdiction, save where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
16. Contact
For anything to do with these terms, write to care@jmjexperiences.com. Partnership enquiries are welcome at partnerships@jmjexperiences.com.
